So, it had been quite some time since the last post. To make our blog not so dead, I decided to post something.

Monday
Hand in your Drawing I home assignment. One for value study, one for form study. You have to learn how to compose your drawing for this assignment.

Tuesday
♦Compulsory to show Lily at least 4 pages of your moleskine progress.
♦History exam. Most of my seniors said it's open book exam. So, bring your laptop or bring your notes along to refer.

Wednesday
Hand in your computer graphic final by 1.30 pm. Things to remember are:
♦Buy one A3 mounting board, one envelope for A4 papers and a sugar paper.
♦Print your final on A4 size paper.
♦Paste the A4 paper on the mounting board. (Please get the measurements from other classmates as I didn't copy)
♦Paste the envelope behind the mounting board. Things to be inserted in the envelope are your references, your black and white thumb and a CD of your final work in AI FORMAT.
♦Paste the marks paper below the final work. (Get the measurements first before you paste it)
♦Stick the sugar paper at the FRONT(like what we did for our finished art assignment last time) to cover the CG.
♦Hand in to Kin Lek by 1.20pm.

Thursday
Three figure drawings to be completed. No more excuse for not handing in!

Friday
Hand in your poster holder and take your attendance. Then, you can leave! =.=
Hand in ONE of your pop up final also. Another two, hand in the week after. Tips to get high mark: Make your pop up super complicated. Need good reference? You can do more research in the net like what I did. ^_^

Saturday&Sunday
Complete Design I's moleskine final, History of arts exhibition's preparation, English exam, Malaysian studies exam, pop-up finale.

Monday Drawing class, Ze Lin.

♥ 4 drawings.
What we have to draw for these 4 drawings is as same as last week - outline and value. Just that we have to draw in 6 inch x 8 inch measurement and take care of the composition as well.

Friday- Finished Art, Reis

Look at the Finished Art schedule now.

The class assignment for today- staple binding will be postponed to next week. The next week's class assignment will become our class assignment. And then, the other class assignment will be the same as scheduled.

Today's home assignment:
★Do research on pop up card.
-Search for at least five references for 90°, 180°, and 360° pop up card. (hint:Don't be lazy. Find more to get more marks)

★Do your home assignment- Pulley.
-Better don't straight away use the drawing on the paper given by Reis because the paper is very thin and will tear off easily. It is more advisable to use art card to do the pulley. =)

Thursday Pengajian Malaysia class, Fadzillah.

As we told by Miss Fadzillah, the final test for Pengajian Malaysia of this semester will be fall on 23th of July.

By the way, the submission for project one of Pengajjian Malaysia also fall on the same date as well.

Any further information please ask who has attended the class.

Thursday Figure class, Khai Koon.

♥ Figure drawing.
Same as the previous assignment we did. Find 4 portraits with contrast tone or value and draw them on the layout pad. You can go and find JV at the illustrator department if you are not sure whether the portraits you have found are suitable or not.

♥ History report.
Today, we have watched the movie - Goya's Ghosts. Unfortunately, I still haven't manage to find the video. Anyone who found it please let the editor of blog know so that they can post it for sake of everyone.

P/S : At last, the Goya's Ghost Movie (separated versions & full version) was found! Unfortunely, its subtitle is in chinese. Sorry ya and enjoy with it. =D

The format for the report is still the same. Do remember the maximum font size is 12 and minimum is 11. The font has to be either Times New Roman or Arial. Please don't use colorful paper with perfume.

Monday Drawing class, Ze Lin.

♥ 6 pieces of drawing.
For the second home assignment, we have to draw 6 pieces of drawing in 7 inch x 7 inch size on drawing block. These 6 pieces of drawing will be separated into 2 categories.

Outline
* Form study from nature.
* Study the changes in contour, the flow and the natural order.
* Line drawing only, apply strokes to enhance the structure.
* Focus on single object.

Value
* Study of value arrangement.
* Train up your acuity towards shape and full value variation.
* 5 different tones - white, light grey, middle grey, dark grey and black.

We have to draw 3 pieces for each category. So, 6 pieces of drawing in total. Deadline is on next week as well.
